Welcome to the Rebellion!
For years, the galaxy has endured the shadow of the Empire. Under Palpatine’s rule, worlds have burned and peoples have vanished. The Jedi were hunted almost to extinction. Ghorman was silenced. Kashyyyk was chained. Lasan was erased. Jedha reduced to dust. Alderaan destroyed without warning, without mercy.
Many looked away. Others called it order. But some of us knew the truth: these crimes were unforgivable.
“There are moments when the struggle feels impossible. Alone. Unsure. Dwarfed by the scale of the enemy.”
And so we survived. Quietly. Fearfully. Until the whispers began.
Small acts of defiance. The Phoenix Cell striking from the shadows. A senator standing up and walking away. A call to rebellion carried across the stars. And then hope made real, as the Death Star fell to a handful of fighters who refused to kneel.
The Rebellion is no longer a rumor. It is here. And the Force is with us.

Our cell now forms in secret on a hidden moon base in the Chicago system, within an ancient Jedi Temple, cloaked from Imperial sight.
We are calling to the Illinois Quadrant for those who still believe. Join us in a celebration of resistance and survival, featuring performances by those the Empire sought to silence:
A former Jedi
Delegates of Mandalore
Twi’lek dancers who have broken their chains
A Nightsister of Dathomir
Together, we honor what the Empire can never seize: the Force that lives within us all.
To join the cell, secure passage to the Temple. A chain code will be transmitted. Follow it.

Attire and timeline: A semi formal night after A New Hope. No Imperials. Stormtroopers will be turned away at the door. Original characters encouraged.
Drag, Burlesque and Circus performances throughout the night.

Dress Code: As this is a special night at the Tavern, we ask that our patrons don their finest fantasy regalia, or at least wear all Black.
Costume Contest with Prizes
Prerequisites: No knowledge of Baldurs Gate Lore is required, just come as your favorite fantasy character or creature.
