The Rebellion is no longer a rumor. It rises in secret on a hidden moon base in the Chicago system inside an ancient Jedi Temple cloaked from Imperial sight. Set just after A New Hope, this semi formal night celebrates resistance and survival with immersive performances from a former Jedi, delegates of Mandalore, liberated Twi’lek dancers, and a Nightsister of Dathomir, alongside drag, burlesque, and circus throughout the evening. Early night jizz music by holobots transitions into late night electronic as activations unfold across the room and the photobooth captures your character in the story. No Imperials allowed and Stormtroopers will be turned away at the door. Original characters strongly encouraged. Receive your chain code and join the Illinois Quadrant in honoring the Force that lives within us all.

For one night only, a portal to Faerun opens in Chicago. Gather your party and step inside Baldurs Gate’s most legendary tavern where sorcerers seeking rare magic items, barbarians with infernal hearts, rogues, clerics, bards, and every class and subclass are welcomed in revelry. Expect immersive burlesque, drag, and fantasy character performances, divinations, roaming bards, a magical music selector spinning late into the night, themed activations, and a costume contest with prizes. No Baldurs Gate lore knowledge required. Arrive as your favorite fantasy character or creature, or wear elevated all black if you prefer subtlety.

Dallas! Welcome to Glup Shitto’s Cantina, the favored watering hole of every strange creature and deep cut from a Galaxy Far Far Away.

Just like the worlds of DND, this galaxy is full of bizarre beings with colorful backstories. Create a character inspired by your favorite strange creature. Maybe you’re a Mon Calamari, Togruta, Chiss, Jawa, Zabrak, Kel Dor, Rodian, Trandoshan, or something no one has ever seen before. Yes, there are even humans, and your creativity can live just as much in your backstory.
Are you a Jedi? A smuggler running spice through the Outer Rim? A bounty hunter chasing credits? A rebel spy quietly working against the Empire?
Every legend in the galaxy started somewhere. One day you’re just a Glup Shitto. The next, you’re the character everyone is talking about.
Just like our other High Fantasy parties, expect drag, burlesque, activations, photos, and walk around characters bringing the cantina to life. Ruins is an intimate venue, so tickets will go fast. Space is limited for this event.
